Fall is the perfect time to get your Ceiling Fans in check. The blades should go clockwise to push the warm air down and save on electric bills. Here’s a great way to clean the fan in a jiffy: Turn off the power to the fan, use a feather duster on the metal and blades. For really sticky dirt on the blades try a little degreaser sprayed on a rag(not directly on the fan). Clear Glass shades can be easily cleaned by putting them on the top rack of the dishwasher and run through a cycle without soap. For covers with gilded edges or metal rims wash by hand with a little Dawn dish soap. In no time your fan should be ready for the season!
